Ron Mock, President and CEO, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Ontario Teachers'), is pleased to announce the promotion of Gillian Brown to Senior Managing Director, Capital Markets.

Ms. Brown leads the Capital Markets group, which manages Total Fund exposure to the equity, fixed income, credit, inflation-sensitive and absolute return asset classes, and is responsible for executing on a centralized trade strategy. She is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in equity and derivatives investment management. Ms. Brown joined Ontario Teachers' in 1995 and has held progressively senior roles, most recently as Managing Director, Credit, Insurance Linked Securities, Equity Products. Prior to that she was the Director of Derivative Strategies and Trading within the Tactical Asset Allocation and Natural Resources department. Ms. Brown holds a B.Comm. from McGill University and is a CFA charterholder. She reports to Ziad Hindo, Chief Investment Officer.

Danilo Simonelli is also promoted to Managing Director, Alternative Investments. Mr. Simonelli reports to Ms. Brown and is responsible for managing the allocation to global hedge funds across multiple strategies in Capital Markets. He joined Ontario Teachers' in 2005, and has held several key roles within the Capital Markets team, including various roles in the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities group, and more recently, overseeing the growth and concentration of our external manager platform in support of Capital Markets and Total Fund objectives. Mr. Simonelli holds a Laurea cum laude in Finance and Economics from Milan's Bocconi University and a Masters in Financial Economics from the University of Toronto. He is a CFA charterholder and has an ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Additionally, Saurabh Rastogi has been promoted to Managing Director, Liquidity & Counterparty Credit Risk Management. Mr. Rastogi reports to Barbara Zvan, Chief Risk and Strategy Officer.

Mr. Rastogi has extensive experience in treasury and liquidity management functions and is responsible for overseeing the Plan's counterparty credit risks and providing leadership in the design and development of the liquidity management framework. Mr. Rastogi is a CFA charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India, and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
