Dale Burgess
Dale Burgess leads the Infrastructure and Natural Resources department and is responsible for overseeing infrastructure acquisitions and asset management globally. He was previously head of the Infrastructure & Natural Resources team for Latin America where he oversaw portfolio companies as well as business development and origination in target countries across the LATAM region.

Bruce Crane
Bruce Crane leads Ontario Teachers’ infrastructure investing activities across Asia-Pacific and currently serves on the boards of Sydney Desalination Plant and India’s National Investment and Infrastructure Fund. Bruce joined Ontario Teachers’ in 2020 as one of the initial members of its new Singapore office, its 2nd in Asia after the Hong Kong office.

Chris Ireland
Chris Ireland is responsible for leading the Greenfield & Renewables investment mandate for Ontario Teachers' Infrastructure team. Chris was a lead on the acquisition of Cubico Sustainable Investments and serves as a board member and chair of its Investment Committee. He also led our investments into Anbaric Development Partners and STEM, Inc., which were both innovative ways to invest in and support the renewables build-out.

Christopher Metrakos
Christopher Metrakos leads Ontario Teachers' Natural Resources team, which is focused on building and managing a diversified global portfolio across agriculture and aquaculture, energy, metals, timberland and natural climate solutions. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers' in 2014, Chris spent approximately ten years with a leading unregulated energy company, investing in energy and retail customer businesses across North America and internationally. He started his professional career in corporate finance, and previously held roles at two global investment banking firms in Toronto and London. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Economics, from McGill University and is a CFA charterholder. He also has ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors

Maria Morsillo
Maria Morsillo is a member of Ontario Teachers' Infrastructure - Value Creation & Analytics team which has a broad mandate to assist in value creation activities across the Infrastructure & Natural Resources portfolio. Maria currently sits on the boards of Cubico Sustainable Investments. She has previously held numerous board positions such as at Birmingham Airport, GCT Global Container Terminals, Saesa and Express Pipeline. Before joining Ontario Teachers' in 2006, Maria was a Corporate Development Manager at Canadian National Railway and worked at CH2M Hill, a large environmental engineering consulting firm.

Stacey Purcell
Stacey Purcell heads the Latin America Infrastructure team with responsibility for identifying, executing and managing infrastructure investments. Stacey joined INR in 2005 and has been involved in a number of transactions including the acquisitions of Essbio, Nuevosur, Esval, Saesa and Intergen’s former portfolio of Mexican generation assets. Stacey currently serves on the boards of Essbio, Esval, Saesa, and AndesCan and previously was a director for Bristol Airport. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', she worked in energy transport and utilities as part of the corporate development team at Enbridge Inc. and as an analyst with Enbridge Gas Distribution.

Kevin joined the Infrastructure & Natural Resources team in 2020 as Managing Director, Americas. He is responsible for managing Ontario Teachers’ Americas portfolio, which includes both the North America and Latam teams. Kevin is returning to Ontario Teachers’ after spending more than 12 years here. He was a founding member of our Infrastructure team and provided oversight to origination, execution and asset management activities in collaboration with all global offices.

Charles Thomazi leads Ontario Teachers' Europe, Middle East and Africa Infrastructure team, with responsibility for identifying, executing and managing infrastructure assets. He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services sector and has been actively involved in infrastructure since 2001. Charles has worked across many sectors, including leading the acquisition of Ontario Teachers' airport assets, High Speed 1 and Koole Terminals and Westerleigh.

Thierry Bédard
Thierry Bédard is responsible for investments in the food and forestry sectors. He joined Ontario Teachers’ in 2001 and has held various roles within the Risk and Tactical Asset Allocation teams before joining the Natural Resources group in 2013. He led the development and implementation of the investment strategy within the food sector, leading to the acquisition of farms and vertically-integrated assets in Canada, the US, Australia and South America. Prior to Ontario Teachers' Thierry spent two years with Mercer as an investment consultant. Thierry earned a B.Sc. in Actuarial Science from Université Laval and an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Ottawa. He is a CFA charterholder and holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Michael Hudgin
Michael is responsible for investments in natural climate solutions and is also actively involved in the agriculture and aquaculture sectors. He has led and contributed to several investments in these sectors as well as mining and infrastructure, and serves on the board of several of these companies. Michael joined Teachers’ in 2008 and began his career in infrastructure investments, before transitioning to the Natural Resources team in 2015. He started his professional career in investment banking in New York, and has also worked for a specialist agriculture private equity fund. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce (highest distinction) from McGill University and is also a CFA charterholder.

James Sikora
James Sikora is responsible for investments in the energy and mining sectors within the Natural Resources group at Ontario Teachers'. Prior to joining the group in January 2019, James was part of the Global Active Equities team where he managed public equities resource exposure. He was also involved in the Plan's acquisition of a working interest in the Weyburn oil field in 2012.

Michael Franklin
Michael Franklin is a member of the Infrastructure team, covering Greenfield & Renewables. Since joining Ontario Teachers' in 2012 Michael has been involved in a number of investments including the acquisition of Chicago Skyway and oversight of Northern Star Generation, InterGen and BluEarth Renewables. He has sat on the board of Chicago Skyway and is actively involved in Anbaric Development Partners. Prior to joining the Infrastructure team at Ontario Teachers', Michael worked in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets and corporate finance at PWC.

Victor Scheibehenne
Victor Scheibehenne joined Ontario Teachers' in 2017 and is a member of INR's Infrastructure - Value Creation & Analytics team. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Victor worked for Kinross Gold as Director, Operations Strategy and Business Optimization where he managed among other aspects the global continuous improvement program. Before that Victor was part of the Industrial Goods practice of The Boston Consulting Group. During his time with BCG he supported leading companies on a range of functional topics ranging from market entry strategy, supply chain optimization to post-merger integration.

He joined Ontario Teachers' in 2011 and has sat on the boards of Northern Star Generation, Intergen, Express Pipeline, Ontario Teachers' New Zealand Forest Investments and Sydney Desalination Plant. He currently sits on the board of Chicago Skyway. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Chris worked on power and utility investments at Brookfield Asset Management.

Daniel Rossetti
Daniel Rossetti joined Ontario Teachers' in 2009. He is a member of the Infrastructure team, covering the North America and Asia-Pacific regions. Daniel worked on the acquisitions of the Chicago Skyway toll road and Enwave Energy Corporation and sits on the boards of GCT Global Container Terminals, Enwave Energy Corporation and Sydney Desalination Plant. Prior to Ontario Teachers', he worked in investment banking with National Bank Financial in the mining sector. Daniel is a CFA charterholder and earned a BA (Honours, Political Studies) from Queen's University and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University's School of Business.

John Kaye
John Kaye is a Managing Director in OTPP’s Infrastructure & Natural Resources Group (INR) and is part of the Latin America Infrastructure team with responsibility for originating, executing and managing infrastructure investments. John currently sits on the board of our Mexican toll road investments, IDEAL, Arco Norte and Pacifico Sur, and was previously a board member for our investments in Essbio and Esval, Chilean regulated water utilities. John has a variety of transaction experience across the utility, transport and power sectors from his tenure at Ontario Teachers'. He joined the infrastructure team full-time in 2008 and was previously an investment banking analyst at National Bank Financial.

Charlotte Brunning is a member of the EMEA Infrastructure and Natural Resources team and has been with Ontario Teachers' since 2015. She has been involved in a number of direct investments, including London City Airport and MapleCo, a U.K. smart metering platform. Charlotte currently sits on the board of Scotia Gas Networks, Westerleigh and MapleCo and previously sat on the board of Brussels Airport. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Charlotte worked at 3i, Barclays Infrastructure Funds and Macquarie.

Deb Hajara
Deb Hajara joined the Asia Pacific Infrastructure and Natural Resources team of Ontario Teachers' in 2021. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers’ Deb had 12 years of experience in infrastructure investing in India. Most recently he spent 5 years with Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets in Mumbai, where he was responsible for both acquisitions and asset management with a focus on the transport sector.
