Pension News Online is here!
December 21, 2011
Welcome to Pension News Online, Teachers' brand new web page to deliver news-as-it-happens to our members. As our members spend more time online, our new page will respond by delivering expanded content with greater frequency than our newsletters.
What you'll see
Here, you'll find stories you may not see in print, and features that enhance your news experience. For example, readers of the current issue of Pension News are being encouraged to log on to our website to watch feature videos that explain the 2012 inflation adjustment. In addition to video, expect to see polls, quizzes and other interactive features in the coming months.
Over the years, we've provided you with pension information through stories in our print newsletters, delivered straight to your door, three times a year. Based on the volume and depth of feedback we get with every issue, we understand what a valuable source of information these newsletters are to both our active members and pensioners. Teachers' recent re-design of both Pensionwise and Pension News represents our continued commitment to the newsletters, and you can continue to read current and past issues right here, on our website.
"Keeping our members informed is a vital part of good service," said Rosemarie McClean, Senior Vice-President, Member Services. "Pension News Online is our way of evolving how members get the information they want and need."
