Ontario Teachers' began investing in Europe shortly after its inception in 1990. As part of our commitment to pursuing partnerships and opportunities on a worldwide scale, in 2007 we opened an office in London – our first outside of Canada. The office was expanded and moved to Portman Square in 2015.

From our base in London, we look for opportunities throughout Europe, and also the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Total investments in the region were more than $26 billion at the end of 2015. The teams at the London office work in collaboration with their colleagues in Toronto and Hong Kong, as well as local partners, to identify opportunities, cultivate strategic relationships, and execute on a wide range of investment deals and transactions.

Our lean structure, strong regional offices and robust global platform allow us to move quickly on opportunities in every market where we operate and to quickly access skills and resources from across Ontario Teachers'.
