- Managing Director and Global Group Sector Head
Romeo Leemrijse leads Ontario Teachers' investing activities in the diversified industrial and business services, consumer and retail as well as the energy sectors. He joined Private Capital in 2006 and has more than 25 years of private equity and investment banking experience.
Since joining the organization, he has been involved in a number of significant transactions including PODS, GFL, Aethon Energy, CSC, Shearers, Hawkwood Energy, Dematic, Insight Pharmaceuticals, GNC and Serta Simmons Bedding. He currently sits on the boards of PODS, CSC, Serta Simmons Bedding and Aethon Energy.
Romeo was previously a principal at EdgeStone Capital Partners, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing investments, as well as monitoring and providing strategic guidance to portfolio companies. Earlier in his career he worked as an investment banker at CIBC.
Romeo is a CFA charterholder and graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Additionally, he holds the ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Kevin Mansfield joined Private Capital in 2005 and has nearly two decades of private equity experience. He has been involved in a number of Ontario Teachers' investments, including 24 Hour Fitness, Arterra Wines Canada, BRG Sports (formerly Easton-Bell Sports), Flynn Restaurant Group, GCAN, Helly Hansen, Munchkin, Osprey Media, Plano Synergy Holding and Traeger Grills. He currently serves on the boards of Flynn Restaurant Group, BRG Sports and Plano Synergy Holding.
Prior to joining Ontario Teachers' Kevin worked at Scotia Merchant Capital, the private equity arm of the Bank of Nova Scotia.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a CFA charterholder.
Raymond Shiu joined Ontario Teachers' in 2005 from RBC Capital Markets. He has been involved in a number of direct investments, including the acquisition of the Pure Group, Flynn Restaurant Group, Insight Pharmaceuticals, PetVet Care Centre, Shearer's Foods, Serta, Simmons, and Valentino Fashion Group. He also participated in the formation of FountainVest Partners and Park Square Capital and currently sits on the boards of Flynn Restaurant Group and the Pure Group.
Raymond earned a B.Comm. from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.
Jonathan Mendonca joined Private Capital in 2014. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Jonathan worked in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets.
Jonathan holds a Honours Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo and a Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Keren Beletsky joined Private Capital in 2018. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Keren worked in M&A investment banking at National Bank Financial.
Keren holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Kobisan Rasaratnam joined Ontario Teachers’ Private Capital in 2019. He is currently involved with investments in Arterra Wines Canada, Bass Pro Shops, and Shearer’s Foods.
Prior to joining Ontario Teachers’, Kobisan worked in investment banking at Qatalyst Partners in San Francisco, where he worked on over $50 billion in announced M&A transactions.
Kobisan earned a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management, with distinction on the Dean’s Honours List, from the University of Waterloo.
- Investment Analyst
Mitchell Ho joined Ontario Teachers’ Private Capital in 2021. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers’, Mitchell worked in investment banking in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at RBC Capital Markets and TD Securities.
Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management (Dean’s Honours) from the University of Waterloo.

Tina You joined Ontario Teachers’ Private Capital in 2020. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers’, Tina worked in Economic Consulting at FTI Consulting and in the Assurance group at EY.
Tina holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Queen’s University. She is both a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator.
