Jo is responsible for advancing Ontario Teachers' global effectiveness across the entire enterprise. He works closely with other executive team members to collectively design and execute our international investment strategy and associated support requirements.

Jo has more than 30 years of investment experience, including 20 years with 3i Group plc, an international private equity and infrastructure investor. There he held a number of senior Group Management roles including CEO of their US subsidiary. At Ontario Teachers', he is a member of the Investment Committees for private companies and total fund allocations. He also works closely with the investment teams operating in the international offices to set strategy, manage key relationships and optimise the allocation of resources.

Jo is currently a non-executive director at Camelot, Scotia Gas Networks, Burton's Biscuits and Ontario Airports Investments. Jo holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and a BA (Honours) from London University.

Ben Chan

Ben leads investment activities in the Asia-Pacific region for Ontario Teachers'.  He has almost three decades of international experience in public and private equities, investment banking and accounting.

Ben joins Ontario Teachers' from Khazanah Nasional Berhad where he spent 12 years in progressively senior roles. He was most recently Co-Head of Investments and led investment activities in China, Vietnam and the Philippines. Ben's investment experience covers a broad range of industries and sectors that have been representative of the growth trajectory of the relevant markets.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales and is a Chartered Accountant. Ben has also completed the Global Leadership Development Program at the International Centre For Leadership In Finance.

Dan Kiang

Dan Kiang joined Ontario Teachers' Hong Kong office in 2014 and is focused on direct equities investments in Asia.

Dan started his career as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch in New York and has nearly two decades of experience investing in Asia. Before joining Ontario Teachers', he was Managing Director at Mount Kellett Asia. Prior to that, he was a Director at Merrill Lynch Asia where he was responsible for its corporate principal investments in the Greater China region.

Dan received a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude in Economics, with a Certificate in East Asian Studies, from Princeton University.

Olivia Ouyang

Olivia Ouyang joined Ontario Teachers' Hong Kong office in 2014 as Director, Funds.

Olivia started her career with McKinsey & Company China and Morgan Stanley Asia, and has over 13 years of private equity investment experience. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Olivia was a Managing Director with China Investment Corporation (CIC), where she was responsible for private equity fund investment, co-investment and direct investment, in Europe and in Global Emerging Markets respectively. Before CIC, Olivia was a Senior Investment Officer with the International Finance Corporation (IFC)'s Private Equity and Investment Funds Group, and covered Greater China, Southeast Asia and India consecutively.

Olivia holds a BA (Honours) in Economics from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Raju Ruparelia

Raju Ruparelia joined Ontario Teachers' in 2008 and has nearly two decades of combined experience in private equity and corporate finance. Raju is a founding member of Ontario Teachers' Hong Kong office and is currently responsible for private equity investments across the Asia-Pacific region. He has worked in both Toronto and London for Ontario Teachers' and has been involved in a number of its direct investments, including the acquisitions of Spandana Sphoorty Financial Ltd., INC Research, Coway, DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield. Raju currently sits on the board of Cushman & Wakefield.

Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Raju worked in investment banking at Credit Suisse in New York, in investments at Cadillac Fairview (Ontario Teachers' wholly owned real estate subsidiary) and in the corporate finance group at Deloitte.

Raju holds a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto

Jungho Cho

Jungho Cho joined Ontario Teachers' in 2015 and is responsible for direct and co-investing activities in Asia.

Prior to Ontario Teachers', Jungho was with the International Finance Corporation, TVG Capital Partners, and Merrill Lynch. He has more than 16 years of investment experience across private equity, public equities, and project finance, as well as in investment banking where he began his career.

Jungho holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Christian Dunn

Christian Dunn joined Ontario Teachers' in 2006 and moved to the Hong Kong office in 2013. He has been involved in the origination, evaluation, execution, and post-investment monitoring and management of numerous fund investments, most recently with a focus on Asia and the emerging markets. He has also been involved in select direct and venture capital investments. As part of the Asia team, Christian is focused on fund and direct private equity investments in the region.

Christian is a CFA charterholder and graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Raymond Shiu

Raymond Shiu joined Ontario Teachers' in 2005 from RBC Capital Markets. He has been involved in a number of direct investments, including the acquisition of the Pure Group, Flynn Restaurant Group, Insight Pharmaceuticals, PetVet Care Centre, Shearer's Foods, Serta, Simmons, and Valentino Fashion Group. He also participated in the formation of FountainVest Partners and Park Square Capital and currently sits on the boards of Flynn Restaurant Group and the Pure Group.

Raymond earned a B.Comm. from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.

Amit Sobti

Amit Sobti joined the Private Capital division of Ontario Teachers' in 2016 and is part of the senior team responsible for direct and co-investing activities across the Asia-Pacific region. Amit sits on the board of Spandana Sphoorty.

Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Amit had more than 15 years of experience in private equity and investment banking, most recently as a principal at Unitas Capital in Hong Kong. He was previously a principal in the healthcare group at Warburg Pincus in New York, prior to which he worked at Rhone Capital and in the M&A group at Merrill Lynch.

Amit holds a dual A.B. (magna cum laude) in Business Economics and Computer Science from Brown University.

Peixi Gu

Peixi joined Ontario Teachers' Hong Kong office in 2015 and is focused on fund as well as direct investment opportunities across Asia.

Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Peixi was an investment professional with Goldman Sachs Principal Investment Area, where she focused on private equity investments across Asia. Before that, Peixi worked in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong.

Peixi holds dual B.Sc. degrees in Economics and Biological Sciences, as well as a Master of Law degree from Peking University.

Paul Lee

Paul Lee joined Ontario Teachers' Hong Kong office in 2015 and is focused on direct investment opportunities across Asia.

Before joining Ontario Teachers', Paul was an investment professional with FFL, a San Francisco-based mid-market private equity fund, where he worked on originating and executing deals across North America. Prior to FFL, Paul was an investment banker in the New York and Hong Kong offices of Merrill Lynch.

Paul holds a BA in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Kelvin Lin

Kelvin Lin joined Ontario Teachers' in 2012 as an Investment Analyst in the Infrastructure group. He moved to the Relationship Investing team in 2015.

Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Kelvin worked in Equity Research at Stifel Nicolaus.

Kelvin holds an HBA degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and is a CFA charterholder.

Jonathan Sue

Jonathan Sue joined Ontario Teachers' in 2012 and has been involved with a number of investments across the financial services and healthcare sectors, including Kanetix Ltd., APCO Holdings, First American Payment Systems, BroadStreet Partners, Canada Guaranty Mortgage Insurance Company and Heartland Dental Care. Jonathan is currently on assignment to Ontario Teachers' Hong Kong office and is focused on direct and co-investment opportunities in Asia.

Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Jonathan worked in the transaction services group at Deloitte & Touche.

He is a Chartered Accountant (2010 CICA Honour Roll), a CFA charterholder, and holds a Bachelor of Accounting & Financial Management (Honours) and a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo.

Before joining Ontario Teachers', Ronnie was an investment professional with Unitas Capital in Hong Kong. Prior to that, Ronnie worked at McKinsey & Company as a business analyst based in Shanghai. 

Ronnie holds an A.B. in Economics from the University of Chicago and completed an exchange program at Peking University.

Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Freddie worked at the investment banking division of Barclays in Hong Kong.

Freddie holds a Master of Accounting degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from Renmin University of China.

Geoffrey started his career in investment banking in Goldman Sachs in New York. Before joining Ontario Teachers', he was an investment analyst at Gruss Capital Management, a hedge fund focused on event-driven investing, in Hong Kong.

Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics (summa cum laude) degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
