Adam MacKillop joined the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) in 2019, where he successfully built and led the DM Rates & FX ARS business within the Capital Markets division. In 2024, Adam transitioned to Total Fund Management to spearhead the Portfolio Strategy Group. His team integrates Dynamic Asset Allocation (DAA), Global Macro Insights (GMI), and Private Asset Integration (PAI) to drive the Capital Allocation Plan. By continuously reassessing the asset mix in response to evolving macroeconomic conditions, Adam and his team provide strategic recommendations to the Investment Committee, effectively mitigating risks and capitalizing on opportunities aligned with global economic trends.

Prior to joining OTPP, Adam served as a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Weiss Multi-Strategy Advisers in New York City. With over 25 years of investment experience across diverse asset classes and international markets, Adam has held key positions in London, Tokyo, and New York throughout his career.

Adam earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee.
