Aaron Manz joined Ontario Teachers' in 2012 and helps lead our private equity investment activities in sustainability and the energy transition, including transaction sourcing, execution and ongoing portfolio management. His transaction experience spans the breadth of the old and new worlds of energy as well as infrastructure, private equity, growth equity and real asset investment strategies. He currently serves on the board Sevana Bioenergy, Private Capital’s renewable natural gas solutions platform, and was previously a director of FireBird Energy and Kanata Energy Group.

Prior to joining OTPP, Aaron worked in management consulting in the Toronto office of the Boston Consulting Group. Before this he was a member of the Calgary investment banking team of Merrill Lynch.

Aaron earned a Bachelor’s of Commerce Degree (with distinction) from the University of Calgary and is a CFA charterholder.
