Maria Morsillo

  • Managing Director, Value Creation and Analytics

Maria Morsillo is a member of Ontario Teachers' Value Creation & Analytics team which has a broad mandate to assist in value creation activities across the Infrastructure & Natural Resources portfolio. Maria currently sits on the boards of Cubico Sustainable Investments. She has previously held numerous board positions such as at Birmingham Airport, GCT Global Container Terminals, Saesa and Express Pipeline. Before joining Ontario Teachers' in 2006, Maria was a Corporate Development Manager at Canadian National Railway and worked at CH2M Hill, a large environmental engineering consulting firm.

Maria earned a B.Sc. (Honours, Chemical Physics) from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Queen's University. She has an ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Stephen Best

  • Senior Principal

Stephen joined Ontario Teachers' in 2017 and is a member of the Value Creation & Analytics team.  He was previously a director in KPMG's Infrastructure M&A practice, focusing on deal and strategy advisory in the infrastructure and energy sectors.  Stephen has been involved in a number of transactions and projects in Ontario Teachers' infrastructure portfolio, including Chicago Skyway, Arco Norte, Cubico and the Chilean water assets (Essbio, Esval, Aguas del Valle and Nuevo Sur). 

Stephen earned a BBA at Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).

Dinesh Curtis

  • Senior Principal

Dinesh Curtis joined Ontario Teachers' in 2015 and is a member of INR's Value Creation & Analytics team. He previously worked in the advisory practice of KPMG and focused on infrastructure and private equity valuations. Since joining Ontario Teachers', Dinesh has been involved in portfolio construction and managing valuations across the Infrastructure and Natural Resources portfolios.

Dinesh holds a BA (Honours) degree in Accounting and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a CFA Charterholder and a Chartered Business Valuator.

David Hutchinson

  • Senior Principal

David Hutchinson joined Ontario Teachers' in 2019 and is a member of INR's Value Creation & Analytics team. He previously worked for Hydro One as Director, Strategy & Corporate Development where he focused on new business ventures and strategic initiatives. Prior to this, David worked at Kinross Gold in its Operations Strategy department on capital project studies and operational improvement, and in Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations management consulting practice.  

David holds a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the University of Toronto.

Susan McFadden

  • Senior Principal

Susan McFadden joined Ontario Teachers' in 2019 and is a member of INR's Value Creation & Analytics team. She previously worked for Rogers Communications in a variety of different strategy roles that covered projects in the Consumer, Enterprise and Media businesses and that encompassed a wide breadth of topics from growth strategy to business line optimization and integration.  Her latest role at Rogers was as Senior Director, Strategy & Planning where she lead long-term strategy development, annual planning and capital governance for their B2B business unit.

Susan holds a B.Comm in Finance from Mount Allison University and an MBA from the University of Toronto.

Victor Scheibehenne

  • Senior Principal

Victor Scheibehenne joined Ontario Teachers' in 2017 and is a member of INR's Value Creation & Analytics team. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Victor worked for Kinross Gold as Director, Operations Strategy and Business Optimization where he managed among other aspects the global continuous improvement program. Before that Victor was part of the Industrial Goods practice of The Boston Consulting Group. During his time with BCG he supported leading companies on a range of functional topics ranging from market entry strategy, supply chain optimization to post-merger integration.

Victor earned his Bachelor of Economics and Business Administration from the University of Duisburg and his Masters from the University of Witten/Herdecke in Germany.

Mohammed Etleb

  • Investment Associate

Mohammed Etleb joined Ontario Teachers' in 2018. He is focused on evaluating direct investments in the Infrastructure and Natural Resources sector, along with asset management responsibilities at Cubico Sustainable Investments and the Sydney Desalination Plant. He previously worked in business development at AltaGas Ltd. in Calgary, with a focus on the Natural Gas & Liquids space.

Mohammed holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

Maribel Millones

  • Investment Associate

Maribel Millones joined Ontario Teachers' in 2019 after spending five years at a Peruvian private equity firm focused in infrastructure and natural resources. She is currently involved with Ontario Teachers’ investments in Saesa in Chile and Goldcrest Farm Trust in United States.

Maribel holds an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru.

Alice Xu

  • Investment Associate

Alice Xu is a member of the Value Creation & Analytics team and currently focuses on strategy, portfolio construction and investor relations, including valuation and internal reporting. She joined Ontario Teachers' in 2013 and worked for the Capital Markets Operations and Investor Relations & Total Fund Reporting groups before joining Infrastructure and Natural Resources in 2018. Prior to joining, Alice worked as an analyst for CPPIB's Structured Products team.

Alice holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and is a CFA charterholder.

Irfan Dhanani

  • Investment Analyst

Irfan Dhanani joined Ontario Teachers’ in 2019 and is part of the Infrastructure & Natural Resources team. He previously worked in global infrastructure and power at CIBC Capital Markets and was based in Calgary. Prior to that, he worked on TELUS Pension’s Canadian Equity team.

Irfan holds a B.Comm. from the University of Alberta and has passed his CFA Level I.
