John Kaye is a member of the Latin America Infrastructure team and is a board member of our Chilean regulated water companies, Essbio and Esval. John has a variety of transaction experience across the utility, transport and power sectors from his tenure at Ontario Teachers'. He joined the infrastructure team full-time in 2008 after completing an internship with Ontario Teachers' in the summer of 2007. He was previously an investment banking analyst at National Bank Financial.
John earned a BBA (Honours, Economics and Finance) and a B.Sc. (Major Computer Science) from Bishop's University, and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management. He is a CFA Charterholder and has completed the OTPP Private Investments Board of Directors Program at the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management.

Stacey Purcell joined the Infrastructure Group in 2005 and is a member of the Latin America Infrastructure team. She has been involved in a number of transactions including the acquisitions of Essbio, Nuevosur, Esval and Saesa. Stacey has served on the boards of Essbio, Esval, Saesa, AndesCan and Bristol Airport. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', she was a part of the corporate development team at Enbridge Inc. and a financial analyst at Enbridge Gas Distribution.
Stacey earned a B.Comm. at Dalhousie University. She is a Chartered Business Valuator and a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Thiago is a member of the Latin America Infrastructure team. He joined Ontario Teachers' in 2008 and has been sourcing, reviewing and negotiating investment opportunities in infrastructure and timberland on a global basis. Thiago has worked on the acquisition of Cubico Sustainable Investments, Weyburn Oil field and on the divestment of our timberland investment in Brazil. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', he worked in the private equity group at Brookfield Asset Management in Toronto which focused on real estate, infrastructure and timberland investments. Before that, Thiago worked for nine years in asset management at Braskem in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Thiago holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the School of Industrial Engineering in Sao Paulo, Brazil and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He has completed the OTPP Private Investments Board of Directors Program at the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management.
Jan Brand helps manage Ontario Teachers' investments across a wide array of geographies and sectors, including the Sydney Desalination Plant in Sydney, Australia and InterGen, a global independent power producer with assets in Australia, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Jan worked in investment banking with BMO Capital Markets in Montreal, Quebec, where he advised clients on multiple transactions and capital issuances.
Jan holds a Masters in Financial Economics from the University of Toronto and the Rotman School of Management as well as a joint honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Finance from McGill University.
Anton Kobzev is a Principal in the Latin America Infrastructure team. He has been involved in the infrastructure sector for five years and has significant experience in structuring and executing investments in North and South America.
In his current role, Anton is part of a team that covers the infrastructure sector in Latin America. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', he worked in investment banking with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Canada.
Anton holds a BCom degree in Finance and Economics from Rotman Commerce at the University of Toronto. He is a CFA charterholder.
Ashley joined Ontario Teachers' in 2015. She previously worked for a Canadian based infrastructure fund on direct transactions and asset management. Since joining Ontario Teachers' she has been involved in a number of investments, including the acquisition of London City Airport. She is currently actively involved in two portfolio companies: BluEarth and Saesa.
Ashley holds an Honors Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business and an Honours B.E.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. She also serves on the MLSE Foundation Game Changers Executive Committee.
