Tom Wellner is a highly experienced corporate executive who recently retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of Revera Inc., a leading global owner, operator and developer in the senior living/healthcare sector. With over three decades of substantial global experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare services, Mr. Wellner has led several organizations, including President/CEO of Lilly Germany, LifeLabs/CML Healthcare, and Therapure Biopharma, following a 20-year global career with Eli Lilly.

He has been a guest lecturer on international business and healthcare at Harvard, Rotman and INSEAD Schools of Business, and has been engaged in significant advisory work and investments within private equity and venture capital communities. He is also a published author.

He currently serves on the board of Andlauer Health Group where he chairs the audit committee and has previously served on the boards of FreshBooks, Novadaq Technologies, Cipher Pharmaceuticals, Diamedica, various Revera entities, and has been an advisor to Lumira Capital as well as a member of equity and family offices.

Mr. Wellner holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from Queen’s University and has received the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
