Tom Wellner is a highly experienced corporate executive who recently retired as President and Chief Executive Officer of Revera Inc., a leading global owner, operator and developer in the senior living/healthcare sector. With over three decades of substantial global leadership experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare services, Mr. Wellner has led several organizations, including President/CEO of Lilly Germany, LifeLabs/CML Healthcare, and Therapure Biopharma, following a 20-year global career with Eli Lilly.

He has been a guest lecturer on international business and healthcare at Harvard, Rotman and INSEAD Schools of Business, and has been engaged in significant advisory work and investments within the private equity and venture capital communities. He is also a published author.

He currently serves on several boards including Homestead Land Holdings Ltd, Saint Elizabeth SE Health and others.  He has previously served on the boards of Andlauer Health Group; FreshBooks, Novadaq Technologies, Cipher Pharmaceuticals and various Revera owned entities. He engages in personal investments and advisory work for several Private Equity / Venture Capital funds and Family Offices.

Mr. Wellner holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from Queen’s University and has received the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
