Bernard oversees the Capital Markets department, leading our active risk taking in Credit and Absolute Return asset classes.

Prior to this, he led the Capital Markets global Credit business, responsible for the overall Fund exposures to asset classes and related active programs.

Bernard joined Ontario Teachers' in 1999 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility. He holds a BA, Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a CFA charterholder.
