Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan invests in Danish residential market through joint venture with H Capital

• Ontario Teachers’ has acquired a seven-asset portfolio of multi-family assets in Denmark, marking its first real estate investment in the country and a new operating partnership with H Capital.  
• The transaction forms part of Ontario Teachers’ long-term strategy to expand its real estate footprint across leading European residential markets, following investments in Germany, the UK and Sweden.

Copenhagen, September 25, 2026: Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (“Ontario Teachers’”) today announced it has acquired a portfolio of seven fully let, residential assets in Copenhagen and Aarhus from real estate investor Koncenton.

This acquisition forms part of a new joint venture with H Capital, its specialist Danish residential real estate operating partner, focused on well-located, high quality, income-generating residential assets across Greater Copenhagen and select strong secondary cities. Ontario Teachers’ aims to build a scaled, institutional portfolio in Denmark in line with its strategy to create a resilient, diversified portfolio in core markets supported by strong fundamentals.
