Appointment notice – Greg Grant

Bjarne Graven Larsen, Executive Vice-President and Chief Investment Officer, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Ontario Teachers') is pleased to announce that Greg Grant has been promoted to Managing Director, North America and Asia-Pacific, Infrastructure and Natural Resources.

Mr. Grant joined Ontario Teachers' in 2008 and leads the North American and Asia-Pacific Infrastructure team with responsibility for identifying, executing and managing infrastructure assets in these regions. He has been involved in many acquisitions including the Chicago Skyway and Sydney Desalination Plant and currently serves on the boards of Global Container Terminals, InterGen and the Sydney Desalination Plant. Mr. Grant has a BComm from the University of Manitoba, an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and is a CFA chartholder. He reports to Andrew Claerhout, Senior Managing Director, Infrastructure and Natural Resources.

Ontario Teachers' is Canada's largest single-profession pension plan, with $180.5 billion in net assets at June 30, 2017.  It holds a diverse global portfolio of assets, 80% of which is managed in-house, and has earned an annualized rate of return of 10.1% since the plan's founding in 1990. Ontario Teachers' is an independent organization headquartered in Toronto. Its Asia-Pacific region office is located in Hong Kong and its Europe, Middle East & Africa region office is in London.
