Teachers’ expands social media presence
Toronto – The Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Teachers') recently launched a YouTube channel, rounding out its social media participation that also includes Twitter, and a Facebook page for members.
Teachers' invites new subscribers to its YouTube channel that includes dedicated playlists of videos on topics including defined benefits plans, investment strategies, plan design and the challenges facing pension plans globally. Two playlists, Members Need to Know and Member FAQs, cover a variety of topics of specific interest to Ontario teachers at all stages of their careers.
With $129.5 billion in net assets as of December 31, 2012, the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is the largest single-profession pension plan in Canada.
