2011 annual review of emerging corporate governance issues

In its annual letter to more than 650 public companies around the world, Teachers' advocates for a sustained focus on key governance principles and discusses its views on recent governance developments. The frequency of advisory votes on compensation, pledging or hedging of executive-owned shares and stewardship codes are issues expected to attract increased attention in 2011.
