Teachers’ responds to Ontario Expert Commission on Pensions
TORONTO - Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Teachers') has provided comments on the report of the Ontario Expert Commission on Pensions (the Arthurs Report) to the Ontario government.
Teachers' applauds many of the recommendations made by the commission in its comprehensive report. Many of the recommendations are presented as part of a balanced package of reforms and we encourage the government to consider them together, rather than in isolation.
Our comments to Ontario Finance Minister Dwight Duncan, as well as our original 2007 submission to the commission, are available on the Submissions page.
