David Hutchinson joined Teachers' in 2019 and is a member of the Portfolio Solutions team.

David is responsible for identifying and implementing value creation and asset management initiatives across the fund’s portfolio.  David sits on the Board of Aggraria (olive oil).

Previously David worked as Director, Strategy & Corporate Development at Hydro One, in Kinross Gold’s Operations Strategy team (on capital project studies and operations improvement initiatives), in Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations consulting practice, and as a mechanical engineer.

David holds a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
