David Hutchinson joined Teachers' in 2019 and is a member of INR's Infrastructure - Value Creation & Analytics team. David is responsible for identifying and implementing value creation and asset management initiatives across the INR portfolio with a focus on the mining, agriculture and renewables sectors.  David sits on the Board of Aggraria (olive oil) and also supports INR’s mining related transactions.

Previously David worked as Director, Strategy & Corporate Development at Hydro One, in Kinross Gold’s Operations Strategy team (on capital project studies and operations improvement initiatives), in Deloitte’s Strategy & Operations consulting practice, and as a mechanical engineer.

David holds a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
