Nomination de Chris Goodsir au Conseil du Régime de retraite des enseignantes et des enseignants de l’Ontario

Steve McGirr, the Chair of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan’s board, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Goodsir to the board for a three-year term, commencing January 1, 2026. Mr. Goodsir was appointed by the Ontario Teachers’ Federation, one of the Plan’s two sponsors.

Mr. Goodsir has held the role of General Secretary at the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF/ FEESO) since January 2022. He has represented OSSTF/FEESO on a variety of different committees including several pension-related roles. He holds a Baccalaureate in Commerce, a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education (Organization Studies) from the University of Ottawa and holds a Chartered Director (C.Dir.) designation from The Directors College.

Mr. Goodsir will replace Gene Lewis on the board when Mr. Lewis’ term ends on December 31, 2025.
