- Managing Director, Relationship Investing
Ken Manget leads the Relationship Investing Group, which has teams in Toronto, Hong Kong and London. The Relationship Investing portfolio is focused on large-scale strategic investments in pre-IPO and public companies. Ken joined Teachers' in 2014 as Vice-President, Infrastructure. He has more than 30 years of experience in the investment field and previously worked at Desjardins Capital Markets, where he was Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking. Before that, he was Managing Director of Equity Capital Markets and Head of Income Funds for BMO Capital Markets. In addition to equity capital markets, Ken has experience in fixed income, derivatives, securitization and infrastructure, and has worked for affiliates of Bank of America and Citi in New York and London.
Ken holds an MBA from Harvard University and a B.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering) from the University of Toronto.

Maggie Fanari has been with Ontario Teachers' since 2006 and was based in Toronto until May 2015. She is now based in London and heads the Relationship Investing team's direct equities investments for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She has structured and executed on large-scale, partnership-driven minority investments in both public and private companies in multiple sectors globally. Maggie started her career as an auditor at KPMG and has previously worked in equity research in Scotia Capital.
Maggie is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA charterholder. She also holds a BBA from the Schulich School of Business, York University.

Dan Kiang joined Ontario Teachers' Hong Kong office in 2014 and is focused on direct equities investments in Asia.
Dan started his career as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch in New York and has more than 15 years of experience investing in Asia. Before joining Ontario Teachers', he was Managing Director at Mount Kellett Asia. Prior to Mount Kellett, Dan was a Director at Merrill Lynch Asia where he was responsible for its corporate principal investments in the Greater China region.
Dan received a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude in Economics, with a Certificate in East Asian Studies, from Princeton University.

John Sheedy joined Ontario Teachers' in 2005 and has led transactions in multiple sectors in Canada, the U.S. and globally in both the Relationship Investing Group and as part of Teachers' Private Capital's Long Term Equities strategy. Previously, John was a partner at a Toronto-based merchant banking fund and a partner at the Canadian law firm Tory Tory Deslauriers & Binnington, where he practiced corporate and securities law.
John holds a BA in Economics (honours) from Western University and a law degree from Queen's University. He holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and has served on several portfolio company boards including SeaCube Container Leasing Ltd., Imperial Parking, PODS Enterprises Inc., and Lancaster Aircraft Leasing.

Brandon Gerson joined Ontario Teachers' in 2013. Brandon started his career at Scotia Capital with roles in the Diversified Industries and Mining groups of its investment banking division.
Subsequently, Brandon joined K2 & Associates, a Toronto-based multi-strategy hedge fund, as an investment analyst.
Brandon holds an MBA from Western University and a BBA from York University.

Mark Piotrowski joined Ontario Teachers' in 2016 and brings with him over 15 years of both public and private equity experience, coupled with operational and entrepreneurial accomplishments.
Mark is a CFA charterholder and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba.

Francois Stoessel joined the Relationship Investing team at Ontario Teachers' in 2016, focusing on direct equities investments in both public and private companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Francois has a decade of industry experience in private equity and investment banking.
Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Francois worked at GMT Partners, a pan-European mid-cap private equity fund active in telecom, media and technology, and KKR, where he focused on European private equity deals in industrials and telecom. Francois started his career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, where he was involved in a variety of mergers, acquisitions and corporate advisory transactions.
Francois earned a Master's degree and diploma from Ecoles des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC), in Paris.
Burke Adams joined Ontario Teachers' in 2012. He previously worked in investment banking in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at BMO Capital Markets.
Burke holds an HBA degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and is a CFA charterholder.

Kelvin Lin joined Ontario Teachers' in 2012 as an Investment Analyst in the Infrastructure group. He moved to the Relationship Investing group in 2015. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Kelvin worked in Equity Research at Stifel Nicolaus.
Kelvin holds an HBA degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and is a CFA charterholder.

Freddie Cai joined the Hong Kong office in 2016 and is focused on direct equity investment opportunities across Asia.
Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Freddie worked at the investment banking division of Barclays in Hong Kong. Freddie holds a Master of Accounting degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from Renmin University of China.

Filippo Damiani joined the Relationship Investing team at Ontario Teachers' in 2016, focusing on direct equities investments in both public and private companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Filippo was an associate in the investment banking division of J.P. Morgan in London, where he was involved in a variety of capital markets and corporate advisory transactions across the Energy and Consumer & Retail sectors.
Filippo holds an MSc in Finance with distinction from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics with honours from Bocconi University.

Zoheb Dosani joined the Relationship Investing team at Ontario Teachers' in 2017. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Zoheb worked in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse in New York where he focused on the Consumer & Retail products sector. He has also held positions in the Mergers and Acquisitions groups of CIBC and UBS in Toronto.
Zoheb holds an HBA degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.

Geoffrey Liu joined Ontario Teachers' Hong Kong office in 2016 and is focused on direct equity investments in Asia.
Geoffrey started his career in investment banking in Goldman Sachs in New York. Before joining Ontario Teachers', he was an investment analyst at Gruss Capital Management, a hedge fund focused on event-driven investing, in Hong Kong.
Geoffrey holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics (summa cum laude) degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Michael Wang joined the Relationship Investing team at Ontario Teachers' in 2017. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Michael worked in investment banking in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at CIBC Capital Markets and as an analyst at Alignvest Management Corporation and Deloitte.
Michael holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
