Appointment notice: Dale Burgess, Bogdan Cenanovic, Michael Murray, Chris Schindler, Robert De Santis

Ron Mock, President and CEO, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, is pleased to announce the promotion of Dale Burgess to Vice- President, Infrastructure Latin America; Bogdan Cenanovic to Vice- President, Technology, Media & Telecom; Michael Murray to Vice-President, Financial Services; Chris Schindler to Vice-President, Portfolio Management & Asset Allocation; and Robert De Santis to Vice President, Solution Engineering.

Mr. Burgess leads the Latin America infrastructure team, which is responsible for both transaction execution and asset management activities in that region's utilities, power and transportation sectors. Mr. Burgess joined Ontario Teachers' in 1996.

Mr. Cenanovic leads direct private equity investments in the technology, media and telecom sectors. His team focuses on subsectors such as enterprise software solutions, communications infrastructure, and technology enabled services. Mr. Cenanovic joined Ontario Teachers' in 2009.

Mr. Murray leads direct private equity investments in the financial services sector. His team focuses on subsectors such as property and casualty insurance, asset and wealth management, specialty finance, and payments. Mr. Murray joined Ontario Teachers' in 2005. 

Mr. Schindler is responsible for portfolio management and asset allocation within Portfolio Construction. His team develops insights and recommendations on the asset allocation decision, including tactical changes to the asset mix weightings and composition, as well as the currency policy. Mr. Schindler joined Ontario Teachers' in 2000.

Mr. De Santis is responsible for IT solution design and development, and maintenance of business applications in use at Ontario Teachers'. Mr. De Santis joined Ontario Teachers' in 1998.

With $154.5 billion in net assets as at December 31, 2014, Ontario Teachers' is the largest single-profession pension plan in Canada. An independent organization, it invests the pension fund's assets and administers the pensions of 311,000 active and retired Ontario teachers.
