Ron Mock, President and CEO, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (Ontario Teachers'), is pleased to announce the appointment of Sandra McEwen to the position of Vice-President, Valuations, Risk Analytics and Model Validation. Ms. McEwen reports to David McGraw, Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer.

Ms. McEwen has more than 17 years of audit, valuation and team leadership experience. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science and a Master of Management and Professional Accounting degree from the University of Toronto, as well as the Chartered Accountant (CA, CPA) and Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designations.

With $171.4 billion in net assets as at December 31, 2015, Ontario Teachers' is the largest single-profession pension plan in Canada. An independent organization, it invests the pension fund's assets and administers the pensions of 316,000 active and retired Ontario teachers.
