Mr. Burgess will be responsible for overseeing Ontario Teachers' infrastructure acquisitions and asset management globally, along with investments in agriculture, oil and gas, timberland and minerals. He joined Ontario Teachers' in 1996 as a Senior Financial Analyst and transitioned to the role of Assistant Portfolio Manager in the real estate investment group before joining the Infrastructure team in 2003.
Mr. Burgess holds a BA from the University of Waterloo. He is a Chartered Accountant, a CFA Charterholder and a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
