Bogdan Cenanovic leads the Fund's investing activities in the technology, media and telecom sectors. He joined Private Capital in 2009 and has over 17 years of private equity and investment banking experience. Since joining Ontario Teachers', he has been involved in a number of significant transactions including Ascend Learning, Blue Coat Systems, Canbriam Energy, Compass Datacenters, Datapipe, Flexera Software, Hawkwood Energy, Insight Pharmaceuticals, Riverbed Technology and TierPoint. He currently sits on the boards of Camelot Global, Flexera Software, Premier Lotteries Ireland, Riverbed Technology and TierPoint.
Bogdan was previously a principal at TorQuest Partners and prior to that, a vice-president at EdgeStone Capital Partners, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing investments, as well as monitoring and providing strategic guidance to portfolio companies. Before that he was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
He is a graduate of the Honours Business Administration (HBA) and MBA programs at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Ashvin Malkani joined Ontario Teachers' in 2002 and has more than
16 years of private equity investing experience. He has been involved in a number of transactions at Ontario Teachers', including Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, CTVglobemedia, Doane Pet Care Company, North American Oil Sands Corporation, Q9 Networks, Datapipe and Ascend Learning. Ashvin currently serves on the board of directors of TierPoint, Compass Datacenters and Metronode.
Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Ashvin was an analyst at TD Capital, the private equity arm of the TD Bank Financial Group.
Ashvin received a BA from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Euclid Sarjoo joined Ontario Teachers' in 2006 and has more than 15 years of private equity investment experience. Euclid has been involved in a number of investments in the technology sector including SonicWall, Flexera Software, Blue Coat Systems, Riverbed Technology and CareerBuilder. He currently serves on the boards of Flexera Software, Riverbed Technology and CareerBuilder and previously served on the boards of SonicWall and Blue Coat Systems. Euclid is a former partner at the Telecommunications Fund at RBC Capital Partners where he was responsible for sourcing, executing and managing investments in the telecommunications sector. Prior to this, he was an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston.
Euclid received a BA (Economics) from Western University and an MBA from the University of Toronto. He is also a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors and holds an ICD.D designation.

Ilya Kachko joined Ontario Teachers' in 2009 and has 12 years of private equity and investment banking experience. Ilya has been involved in a number of transactions at Ontario Teachers', including Camelot Group, Premier Lotteries Ireland, SeaCube Container Leasing, BayBridge Seniors Housing, and Amica Mature Lifestyles. Previously, Ilya was part of the private equity team at Birch Hill Equity Partners and prior to that, Ilya worked at TD Securities in Mergers & Acquisitions.
Ilya graduated from INSEAD, with a Master of Business Administration, and York University, Schulich School of Business, with a Bachelor of Business Administration (with distinction).

Katie Lokash joined Private Capital in 2014 with 10 years of private equity, investment banking and corporate development experience. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Katie held corporate development roles at CIBC and Viterra, where she was responsible for formulating strategy and identifying and executing M&A opportunities. Prior to that, she was part of the private equity investment team at TorQuest Partners and was an investment banker at Genuity Capital Markets and TD Securities.
Katie is a CFA charterholder and earned an Honours Business Administration degree (with distinction) from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Vagh Bakhshyan joined Private Capital in 2013. He previously worked in investment banking at Canaccord Genuity in their M&A group, and in the Diversified group at CIBC World Markets. Since joining Ontario Teachers' he has been involved in a number of investments, including the acquisitions of Compass Datacenters, Ascend Learning and TierPoint. He is currently actively involved in two portfolio companies: Compass Datacenters and TierPoint.
Vagh earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with high distinction) from the University of Toronto.
Jarrad Simpson joined Private Capital in 2013. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Jarrad worked in investment banking in the Diversified Industries group at BMO Capital Markets and in the Investor Relations group at BCE.
Jarrad has completed the CFA curriculum and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with distinction) from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University.
Antony Waszkiewicz joined Teachers' in 2012. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Antony worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Canaccord Genuity.
Antony holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Finance from the University of Toronto and is a CFA charterholder.

Jarnail Badwal joined Private Capital in 2013. He has completed two internships with Private Capital assisting the team's various sector groups.
Jarnail earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with great distinction) from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University.

Vrinda Grover joined Private Capital in 2017. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Vrinda completed rotations in Transaction Services and the Valuations group through the Deals Rotational Program at PwC.
Vrinda holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo. She is currently pursuing her CPA designation.
