- Managing Director, Greenfield Investments & Value Creation
Olivia Steedman leads two teams within Ontario Teachers' Infrastructure and Natural Resources Group:
- The Greenfield and Renewables Group, which has a global mandate to invest in early stage (i.e. in development or under construction) infrastructure assets including assets that are a fundamental part of the transition to a low carbon economy.
- The Value Creation and Analytics team which is responsible for working with each of INR's regional and sector teams and with portfolio company management to deliver best practices and value enhancements in each phase of a deal. The VCA Team is also responsible for the analysis that supports INR's portfolio construction decisions.
Olivia has been involved in a number of acquisitions and has served on a number of portfolio company boards across the portfolio since joining Ontario Teachers' in 2002. Before joining, she was an Assistant Vice-President in the project finance and privatization group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She also practiced civil engineering at Marshall Macklin Monaghan.
A Professional Engineer and Chartered Professional Accountant, Olivia earned a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Queen's University and has ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
- Director, Value Creation and Analytics
Maria Morsillo is a member of Ontario Teachers' Value Creation & Analytics team which has a broad mandate to assist in value creation activities across the Infrastructure & Natural Resources portfolio. Maria currently sits on the boards of Cubico Sustainable Investments and Koole Terminals. She has previously held numerous board positions such as at Birmingham Airport, GCT Global Container Terminals, Saesa and Express Pipeline. Before joining Ontario Teachers' in 2006, Maria was a Corporate Development Manager at Canadian National Railway and worked at CH2M Hill, a large environmental engineering consulting firm.
Maria earned a B.Sc. (Honours, Chemical Physics) from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Queen's University. She has an ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
- Senior Principal
Stephen joined Ontario Teachers' in 2017 and is a member of the Value Creation & Analytics team. He was previously a director in KPMG's Infrastructure M&A practice, focusing on deal and strategy advisory in the infrastructure and energy sectors. Stephen has been involved in a number of transactions and projects in Ontario Teachers' infrastructure portfolio, including Chicago Skyway, Arco Norte, Cubico and the Chilean water assets (Essbio, Esval, Aguas del Valle and Nuevo Sur).
Stephen earned a BBA at Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).
- Senior Principal
Dinesh Curtis joined Ontario Teachers' in 2015 and is a member of INR's Value Creation & Analytics team. He previously worked in the advisory practice of KPMG and focused on infrastructure and private equity valuations. Since joining Ontario Teachers', Dinesh has been involved in portfolio construction and managing valuations across the Infrastructure and Natural Resources portfolios.
Dinesh holds a BA (Honours) degree in Accounting and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a CFA Charterholder and a Chartered Business Valuator.
- Senior Principal
Victor Scheibehenne joined Ontario Teachers' in 2017 and is a member of INR's Value Creation & Analytics team. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Victor worked for Kinross Gold as Director, Operations Strategy and Business Optimization where he managed among other aspects the global continuous improvement program. Before that Victor was part of the Industrial Goods practice of The Boston Consulting Group. During his time with BCG he supported leading companies on a range of functional topics ranging from market entry strategy, supply chain optimization to post-merger integration.
Victor earned his Bachelor of Economics and Business Administration from the University of Duisburg and his Masters from the University of Witten/Herdecke in Germany.
Alexandra Foty joined Ontario Teachers' in 2017 and currently holds asset management responsibility at Arco Norte, STEM, Inc., Trillium Storage and BaseCore Metals. Prior to her current role, she worked in institutional equity research with National Bank Financial in the metals and mining sector.
Alexandra holds a B.Eng. degree in Mining Engineering from McGill University.
