Greg Grant

Greg Grant

  • Managing Director, North America and Asia-Pacific

Greg Grant leads the North America and Asia-Pacific infrastructure team, with responsibility for identifying, executing and managing infrastructure assets. Greg worked on the acquisition of the Chicago Skyway and was involved in the acquisition of the Sydney Desalination Plant, Saesa, Brussels Airport and Copenhagen Airports. He currently serves on the boards of GCT Global Container Terminals, InterGen and Sydney Desalination Plant. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers' in 2008, he worked in investment banking and corporate development for an independent power producer.

Greg earned a B.Comm. (Honours) from the University of Manitoba, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, Western University. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Chris Parker

Chris Parker

Chris Parker is a member of the North America, Asia-Pacific Infrastructure team.   He joined Ontario Teachers' in 2011 and has sat on the boards of Northern Star Generation, Express Pipeline and Ontario Teachers' New Zealand Forest Investments. He currently sits on the boards of InterGen and Sydney Desalination Plant. Prior to joining Ontario Teachers', Chris worked in M&A, asset management, project development and project finance within the infrastructure, power and utility sectors. He has previously worked at Brookfield Asset Management, Duke Energy and Air Products.

Chris earned a B.A. in Economics, a B.Sc. in Mathematics and an MBA in Finance from Virginia Tech. He is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Darrin Pickett

Darrin Pickett is a member of the North America, Asia-Pacific Infrastructure team. He moved to the portfolio's asset management team in 2011, after spending five years working on transactions. Darrin was involved in the acquisition of High Speed 1 and serves on the boards of GCT Global Container Terminals and Chicago Skyway. Previously, Darrin was a Vice-President at CIT Capital Securities in New York and worked for Campbell Valuation Partners and KPMG in Toronto.

Darrin earned his HBA at the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Business Valuator and a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Daniel Rossetti

Daniel Rossetti joined Ontario Teachers' in 2009. He is a member of the Infrastructure team, covering the North America and Asia-Pacific regions. Daniel worked on the acquisition of the Chicago Skyway toll road and holds asset management responsibility at both Skyway and GCT Global Container Terminals. Prior to Ontario Teachers', he worked in investment banking with National Bank Financial in the mining sector.

Daniel is a CFA charterholder and earned a BA (Honours, Political Studies) from Queen's University and an MBA from the Wilfrid Laurier University School of Business.

Michael Franklin

Michael Franklin is a member of the North America, Asia-Pacific Infrastructure team. Since joining Ontario Teachers' in 2012 Michael has been involved in a number of investments including the acquisition of Chicago Skyway and the sale of Northern Star Generation. He is actively involved in managing InterGen. Prior to joining the Infrastructure team at Ontario Teachers', Michael worked in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets and corporate finance at PWC. 

Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, an MBA from McMaster University's School of Business and is a CFA Charterholder.

James Hanson

James Hanson

James Hanson joined Ontario Teachers' in 2015. He previously worked in investment banking at Macquarie Capital Markets in Calgary, focusing on M&A and ECM in the upstream oil and gas space.  James is currently involved with Ontario Teachers' investment in Global Container Terminals.

James earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary.

Tom Labenski

Tom Labenski joined Ontario Teachers' in 2017. He previously worked in investment banking at Macquarie Capital in Calgary, focusing on M&A and ECM in the upstream oil and gas space. Tom is currently involved with Ontario Teachers' investment in Chicago Skyway.

Tom is a CFA charterholder and earned a Bachelor of Science with Honours from Acadia University.

Catherine Qian

Catherine Qian

Catherine Qian joined Ontario Teachers' in 2017. She previously worked in corporate and investment banking at Citigroup. Catherine is currently involved with Ontario Teachers' investment in Saesa and the Timber portfolio.

Catherine earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics from Rotman Commerce at the University of Toronto.

Alexandra Foty

Alexandra Foty joined Ontario Teachers' in 2017 and currently holds asset management responsibility at Arco Norte. Prior to her current role, she worked in institutional equity research with National Bank Financial in the metals and mining sector.

Alexandra holds a B.Eng. degree in Mining Engineering from McGill University.
