Jo Taylor joined Teachers’ in 2012 as head of TPC’s London office, and is Teachers’ senior representative for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He leads the team responsible for sourcing, negotiating and executing investments in these regions.
Jo has broad experience in the investment industry, including more than 20 years with 3i Group Plc, an international private equity and infrastructure investor. There he was the Head of Venture and Technology investing, a member of the Group Management and Investment Committees, and CEO of a US Investment Subsidiary. He is currently a non-executive director at Kainos Software Limited, and has previously served as a director of Standard Life European Private Equity Trust Plc. (a listed fund of funds investor focusing on larger buy-out teams investing in Europe), and Clearswift Systems Ltd. (a security software company). Jo was also the non-executive chairman of Tideway Investments Ltd. (a U.K. - based wealth management business) and Halcyon Hotels plc. (a group of family-orientated hotels based in England). Jo holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and a BA (Honours) from London University. |

Lori Hall-Kimm joined Teachers’ in 2005 and has 10 years of combined experience in investment banking and private equity. Lori helped to establish Teachers’ London office in 2007 and oversees Teachers’ private equity fund and co-investing activities in EMEA. She has been involved in several international transactions, including negotiating and executing new fund commitments, and equity and mezzanine direct investments. Recent deals include Kabel Deutschland, Alexander Forbes, Alliance Boots, and Convatec. Lori sits on the board of Alexander Forbes, and also serves on the advisory board of a number of Teachers’ U.K., European and African private equity fund investments. Before joining Teachers’, Lori worked in the consumer-retail investment banking group of Goldman Sachs & Co. Previously, she held positions with TD Securities and OMERS. Lori received a BBA (Honours) from the Schulich School of Business at York University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. |

Frederik Wijsenbeek joined Teachers’ Private Capital in 2010 with more than 10 years of mid-market private equity experience across Europe and North America. He is now responsible for direct and lead private equity efforts in Europe. Previously, Frederik was a partner at Englefield Capital, a €1.8 billion European mid-market private equity fund based in London, and served on the boards of five Englefield portfolio companies. Prior to this, he spent four years in New York at Securitas Capital, a global private equity fund focused on the financial services industry, where he was involved in investments across North America and Europe. Frederik earned a BA (with Distinction) from Stanford University and has completed multiple Executive Education programs at Harvard Business School. |

Jean-Charles Douin joined the London office for Teachers’ Private Capital in 2008. He was involved in the buyout of Acorn Care & Education and serves on its board. He also sits on the board of Alexander Forbes. Previously, Jean-Charles worked at CapVest Ltd., a mid-cap private equity fund based in London that is active in the consumer and healthcare space, and UBS Investment Bank, where he focused on the consumer and retail sectors. Jean-Charles earned a master’s degree from HEC in Paris. |

Marvin Teubner joined Teachers' Private Capital in 2011. Before joining Teachers', Marvin worked at Rhone Capital, a mid market private equity fund, and Warburg Pincus, where he focused on the business service industry. Previously, he held positions at Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank, where he covered the financial institutions sector. Marvin holds a BA in Economics and Operations Research from Columbia University. |

Charles Cooper joined Teachers' Private Capital in March 2010. Previously, he worked in Credit Suisse's European Mergers & Acquisitions group, specializing in the mining and industrial sectors. Prior to Credit Suisse, Charles worked at Canaccord Adams. Charles earned a B.Comm. from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. |
