A funding Sustainability Working Group was formed in September 2009 to study ways to keep the Teachers’ pension plan secure and affordable well into the future.

The group comprised members of the Ontario Teachers’ Federation (OTF), the Ontario government and pension plan management. Dr. Harry Arthurs, who chaired the Ontario Expert Commission on Pensions, facilitated the group.

The group completed its work and released its final report (519 KB PDF) in September 2010.
