Tamara Finch
Director

Tamara Finch joined Teachers’ Private Capital in 2002 and brings 12 years of private equity and corporate credit experience to Teachers’. Tamara leads the Portfolio Management team and was key to developing the portfolio management practice at Teachers' Private Capital. The team focuses on value creation, operational improvements, board effectiveness, resource management, and cross-portfolio initiatives across the direct investment portfolio.

Prior to this role, Tamara was involved in several control transactions, including the management buyout of Osprey Media, the recapitalization of Samsonite Corp. and the acquisition of Alliance Laundry. Before joining Teachers’, Tamara worked on leveraged transactions in corporate credit at Scotiabank.

A CFA charterholder, Tamara earned a BA (Honours Economics) from Queen’s University, an MBA (Finance) from the University of Toronto, and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors. She has been involved with several portfolio companies and sits on the board of Women’s College Hospital.

 

Anna Coatsworth
Senior Associate

Anna Coatsworth joined Teachers' Private Capital in 2011. As part of the Portfolio Management team, she works with portfolio companies across industry groups on value creation and operational improvements. Prior to Teachers', Anna worked in the Toronto and Chicago offices of PwC in the Corporate Advisory and Restructuring Services group, and previously in the assurance practice.

Anna is a Chartered Accountant and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with first-class honours from McGill University.

 

Drew Levy
Investment Associate

Drew Levy joined Teachers' Private Capital in 2011 as a member of the Portfolio Management team. He began working at Teachers’ in 2009 and has broad exposure to the fund’s internal operations. Prior to joining Teachers’, Drew was a manager at Ernst & Young in the Financial Services assurance practice.

A Chartered Accountant, Drew received an HBBA from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Finance degree from the University of Toronto (Rotman).
