The venture capital portfolio for Teachers' Private Capital invests in funds that have experienced managers who have generated superior returns with a consistent strategy over multiple funds. Our global fund portfolio spans all stages of venture investments from seed-stage to venture growth equity.
We also invest directly in expansion-stage venture capital investments. We work with a select group of funds to lead transactions or co-invest alongside them. We seek to invest with highly experienced and motivated entrepreneurs as they build companies with industry transforming potential. We leverage our extensive internal resources and networks, as well as that of their partners to aid in the development of these companies.
Our target is to invest $10 million to $50 million in funds and $5 million to $15 million in direct investments over the life of an investment. |
